Garfield, NJ
Driving lessons in Garfield for every kind of new driver, with practice close to the Lodi road test site.
Learning to drive in Garfield
Garfield sits along the Passaic River on Bergen County's southwest edge, right next to Lodi. Its tight residential streets, frequent stop signs and parked cars on both sides teach new drivers precise steering and patience, while Outwater Lane, Midland Avenue and Passaic Street add busier traffic and signals.
Garfield's location is a big plus at test time: the Lodi road test site is next door. Route 46 and I-80 are just to the north for highway lessons. Garfield is a diverse community, and we regularly help adult beginners and new arrivals learn New Jersey's rules of the road and prepare for the knowledge and road tests.
