Driving lessons in
Lodi, NJ

Learning to drive in Lodi

Lodi is home to the NJ MVC road test site at 8 Mill Street, off Garibaldi Avenue. That makes it the most common destination for Bergen County drivers on test day. Students who live in Lodi have a real advantage: they can practice the surrounding neighborhoods, intersections and traffic patterns until they feel familiar.

Beyond the test site, Lodi offers a varied practice area. Main Street and Garibaldi Avenue bring busy local traffic, the Saddle River runs through town, and Route 17, Route 46 and I-80 surround the borough for highway practice once students are ready. Our road test prep lessons focus on what examiners look for: smooth starts and stops, full stops at stop signs, correct signaling, the K-turn, backing up and parallel parking.

Local roads we practice

• Main Street and Garibaldi Avenue
• Streets around the Mill St MVC site
• Route 17 and Route 46
